Hi Nick, I don't know if this is a bug or a configuration mistake. I'm not so good with english so I made an image about the color problem that I detect in comparison with zmud, shell cygwin, kildclient and a browser client:

Please help us by advising the version of MUSHclient you are using. Use the Help menu -> About MUSHclient.

See the Output configuration -> Alternative inverse/highlight display checkbox. Does that help?

So I can reproduce this, please capture the actual codes sent from the MUD.

Go to Edit Menu -> Debug Packets (turn on)
Display the problem area (like in your screen capture)
Turn Debug Packets off

Copy and paste the packet display (it will open in a separate window) here.

My version is 5.06 but you are right: "Alternative inverse/highlight display" option solved my problem!
