Missing characters in Version 3.38

I don't know if anyone has this problem, but if I type in a command that starts with a period ( . ), then hit the up arrow (cursor) key, the period doesn't show up again.

I mainly use this command on my favorite MUCK, when I have the auto-say enabled and want to check several like fields, such as persoanl information. A series of commands might look like...

.cinfo someone character
.cinfo someone preferences
.cinfo someone residence

and such.. Using version 3.38, when the period isn't placed in the command line, my character just says the rest of the line.. which can be a bit embarrassing at times.

In the mean time, I went back to version 3.34 and the problem went away.

To clarify this, the bug report really is that:

* If auto-say is on
* You have an auto-say override prefix (in your case a period)
* You type the override to enter a command (instead of saying something)
* then the auto-say prefix is not saved in the command history, so when you recall the command it is "said" the second time

This is indeed a bug, which is fixed in 3.39.
