Ok, I use the most recent version of MC and I encountered the following weird problems:
I'm a discworld mudder (discworld.imaginary.com, Port 4242, playing a witch). It seems they use an unknown letter or glyph at the end of some room descriptions of this world, which MushClient interprets as a command (NORTH).
Please view the following html-file, where everythin' should (hopefully) become clearer to you. It will stay there up to the end of September, since it's just a "borrowed" web parking lot :)

I colored my commands (PINK), so I know when the clint regards lines as command or world output.
You'll see why I first thought it's a world problem, since it only seemed to happen at "Gennie Applebotooms", this is: in 4-6 rooms of this world. I even bugrepped it. But then my witch was flying elsewhere and there it was again. Sometimes it's working fine, though.
Hope you might tell me a thing or two, else I'll have to switch client.
