This is a forum for the client that you may (or may not) be using. Not the game itself. And it definitely wouldn't be a bug report of either.
Different games have all sorts of different methods of movement and talking. I suggest you read the help files (try just plain 'help').
There may also be more help related messages when you create a character, or connect.
Your server (mud, whatever) may also have a forum/webpage where you can go and get additional help.
