Hi,

I am looking for free MUD/MOO hosting (Linux), ports 7000, 7777, as I moved to wireless broadband Internet (HSDPA).

Any chance to set up MUD-MOO on my own to held on-line seminar for students ?

I am member of some MOOs as builder, programmer, but I need to come with my own welcome page and some objects, still under tests.

Just post things like this once, thanks. I deleted your other, identical, post.

If you have a PC you can leave on 24/7 you could host it yourself, or that not what you mean?

Ok. I have PC, but have HSDPA modem access in my laptop, running Vista.
LambdaMOO comes with server for Unix/ BSD Linux ..
Windows port of MOO by Kevin, Winmoo, works fine under Vista.
The issue is basic security of Vista and privacy.

So I would prefer not to use the same PC for running encore MOO and for private use.

Any chance for free MOO/MUD hosting ?
Any issue is porting of sources (LambdaMOO from Unix to local Linux distributions, cross- or native compilation, as pointed out by Kevin).

Could you move my request from announcements to general ?
